Redesigning the onboarding process to reduce back-office bottlenecks

Smartlane is a B2B startup that provides financial solutions for businesses dependent on cash-on-delivery payments, a highly popular mode of payment in Pakistan.


I led the redesign of the entire platform experience, working closely with the sales team and leadership 
to facilitate more automated data collection at certain touch-points,  reducing manual follow-ups and minimising additional work for the sales team.

Redesigning caseworker tools to respond to their real-world processes

After a decade of financial austerity, councils within the United Kingdom need to do more with less. When this project started, there were over 4,800 in social housing who owed the council.

I led the team to redesign the existing product experience. Redesigned the action diary to follow natural conversation patterns, consolidated all context in one place, and embedded financial tools caseworkers actually used during resident discussions.

Prototyping to improve collaboration between trade committee members

Developing countries are mandated by the World Trade Organisation to create national trade facilitation committees to foster collaboration between the public and private sector to implement reforms to improve trade. 


I led the end-to-end product design process to prototype a solution for monitoring and reporting. I worked closely with the client to interview, workshop and co-design solutions with individuals across the Global South.
